Thanks to everyone who attended my talk at the New England Silverlight Guild at the MS NERD Center in Cambridge, MA. WCF RIA Services is a really cool technology that makes line-of-business apps on top of Silverlight a heck of a lot easier. Hopefully my talk served as a good introduction and convinced a couple people to give WCF RIA Services a try. This zip contains the slides and code from the talk.   1. Someone emailed me about the files from this talk, looking for the asynchronous validation example that I demoed. If you download the zip above and unzip it, one of the folders is called "AlbumManager (Finished)". If you open that folder and open the solution file inside of it, you will be able to find the async validation code. You can find the main method SongNameDupeCheck inside of Validations.Shared.cs within the AlbumManager.Domain project.

    BTW, that demo is based on this blog post from Jeff Handley. Thanks Jeff for providing that post because it was a big help in understanding WCF RIA Services validation. The post is here:
